Excellence:
As believers, God calls us to do all we do for his glory. One way we do that is through a commitment to excellence. We are uniquely gifted by God to do the tasks and ministry He has called us to.
In Exodus 35, God fills two men with His spirit to design the tabernacle. He gifted them "with wisdom, understanding and ability in every kind of craft" (v. 31). Excellence is about directing the audience toward God through quality work under the direction and filling of the Holy Spirit.
Excellence can not be merely a technical proficency. If it is only about "our skill and ability" then we have missed the biblical defintion of excellence, and we are not pleasing God with our work.
